Sustainable & Efficient
Botman Hydroponics offers the very best in cultivation on water. The thoughtfully designed growing system offers a powerful concept of minimal investment with maximum return.
Due to a clever design, the space in the propagation area and in the greenhouse are used as efficiently as possible. Usable for either vertical propagation as well as propagation in a climate room.
For the high density and efficient propagation of young plants.

Biodegradable substrate holder. More sus-tainable than other alternatives, like rockwool.
The specially designed Growcoon fits the cone of our Floating Raft perfectly.
The Germination & Propagation phase usually takes about 19-21 days, depending on the crop and variety.
The Propagation Tray is designed and used for sowing, germination and propagation on a higher density (630 /m²) in the propagation area, either vertical or horizontal. When the young plants are ready, they will be transplanted from the Propagation Tray into the
Floating Raft for the cultivation phase on lower density.
Usable for either propagation in a vertical farm as well as propagation in a climate room.
Easy to automate for transplanting. Designed to fit the Growcoon which matches the cone of the Botman Hydroponics Floating Raft.
After propagation, the young plants are transplanted directly into specially engineered injection-molded Floating Rafts made from food-safe plastics.
These are then floated on a layer of water (25-30 centimeters or 10-12 inches deep) in the greenhouse pond, allowing the plant roots to hang in the water.
19 - 21 days
Depending on the chosen crop and variety, the propagation of the young plants takes usually 19-21 days.
630 /m²
Propagation takes place at 630 plants per square meter.
